Översikt Terapilaser studier:

”MECHANISMS OF LOW LEVEL LIGHT THERAPY” Prof. Michael R. Hamblin Dep. of Dermatology, Harvard Medical School

Smärta: En översiktlig och korrekt genomgång av mekanismerna bakom smärta, beskrivning av idag till buds stående läkemedelbehandling samt också riskerna därmed, återfinnes i Läkemedelsboken 2011-2012 under adress;

Följande meta analys (16 randomiserade kontrollerade studier, 820 patienter) publicerad 2009 i världens förnämsta medicinska tidskrift, The Lancet, verifierade att terapilaser har en omedelbar och reducerande effekt på akut nacksmärta respektive att smärtlindringen vid kronisk nacksmärta  kvarstår i upp till 22 veckor. “Meta-Analysis of Pain Relief Effects by Laser Irradiation on Joint Areas”, Ho Jang et al,  Photomedicine and Laser Surgery Volume 30, Number 8, 2012. Denna metaanalys bygger på en systematisk genomgång av sammanlagt 22 kontrollerade studier avhandlandes ledsmärta hos totalt 1233 patienter. Sammantaget ses en signifikant reduktion av smärta (VAS) samt verifierar hälften av studierna även ett förbättrat rörelsestatus (PEDro scale). Författarnas konlusion är; “Obtaining pain relief from LLLT might be a good alternative to the use of NSAIDs, particularly for elderly people, because laser therapy has no reported side effects.”
